ATTENTION:
Whispering Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary is currently facing a high volume of requests for farm animals to be admitted to the sanctuary. At this time, our sanctuary is nearing capacity and our teams are working hard to help as many animals and people as possible. We are prioritizing animals and families facing emergencies and other urgent situations. We urge those who need help to use the resources found on our website and fill out the admissions consultation request form online. A member of the admissions team will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We are asking at this time that people contact us rather than attempting to admit their pet to the sanctuary by walk-in appointment. This will allow us to ensure resources and space for the animals in our care. If you are facing an emergency, please give us a call at 440-212-6769 or email janine@whisperingacressanctuary.com.
As always there are many ways to help support the shelter and the community’s pets including adoption, becoming a foster volunteer, and donating to help provide services for the many pets in our care.

We know making the decision to surrender an animal can be a difficult one. Whether you need to surrender your own animal, or you found a stray in need of help, you want what is best for them. Please feel free to reach out to our admissions counselor at 440-212-6769
PLEASE NOTE: If this is an emergency, meaning a pet or person could potentially be or is in immediate physical danger or suffering, please call us at 440-212-6769
Leaving your pet at Whispering Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary without completing the formal admissions process is considered abandonment. Ohio Revised Code 505.06, this is a misdemeanor with a potential penalty of up to one year in jail and/or a fine of $1,000.
